Scots speakers have a definite advantage when it comes to pronouncing Scheveningen and gelukkig.

Dawn

Dawn in NLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09189050640379340589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4343255049287038623.post-73320594299807409222013-09-18T23:36:22.463-07:002013-09-18T23:36:22.463-07:00Thank you! :D I'm happy to know how to pronoun...Thank you! :D I'm happy to know how to pronounce "Buccleauch" -- there is at least one street of the same name and very time someone who's not from around here tries to say it, they/I just sound kind of like a clucking chicken. (It's amusing enough to maybe keep this knowledge to myself, in selfish amusement while trying to listen to someone else figure it out, or is that means?) ;)

Cheers!
Kate xAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17684051802245848006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4343255049287038623.post-44549189050870046142013-09-18T14:17:11.505-07:002013-09-18T14:17:11.505-07:00Lovely detail photos today, Kate. The pronunciation is buh-clue and the Scots way of saying djookie buh-clue is quite fun.
The title still exists, the current one being the 10th and a verrrrry rich man.
All the best
DawnDawn in NLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09189050640379340589noreply@blogger.com
